Janus International adds a Bluetooth-and-NFC smart lock built for storage doors

Janus International Group announced Noke Infinite on April 6, 2026, a wireless, battery-powered smart lock for self-storage unit doors that adds near-field communication (NFC) to its existing Bluetooth-based Noke line, according to the company’s press release. Janus said the lock’s NFC power-harvesting function lets tenants keep unlocking it by phone even after its five-year rated battery life ends.
The company said the lock carries a four-times-stronger antenna than earlier battery-powered Noke models, draws 50% less power when unlocking, and installs up to 50% faster than competing battery locks. It is built for both new construction and retrofits on Janus roll-up and swing doors, and works with the company’s manager and tenant mobile apps.
CEO Ramey Jackson said Janus is “committed to advancing smart security and automation technology” for the self-storage sector. Janus expects Noke Infinite to begin shipping in the third quarter of 2026.
